Hi friends! My name is Pastor Wilfredo “Choco” De Jesús, and I have the honor of serving as the U.S. Missions Executive Director for the Assemblies of God. Most people call me “Pastor Choco”, and yes, it’s because I really love chocolate!

I want you to know how special you are and how thankful we are for U.S. Missions families like yours. U.S. Missions is all about sharing the love of Jesus with people across America, in cities, small towns, schools, churches, and communities everywhere. Your family is part of that mission, and your faith, kindness, and willingness to follow God’s call make a big difference.

I didn’t grow up in a Christian home, but everything changed when I gave my life to Jesus in high school. Since then, God has taken me on an amazing journey of serving others and sharing His love. One thing I know for sure is this: God has a wonderful plan for your life too! Thank you for being part of the U.S. Missions family. We are cheering you on, praying for you, and believing God will use you in amazing ways.

Director of Operations

Hi friends! My name is Amy, and I grew up in Washington. I have always loved learning about the Bible and the places where Jesus lived! After college, I moved to Jerusalem, Israel, where I spent five years studying Bible history and learning more about God’s Word.

Later, I became a missionary in Belgium, where I taught students at a Bible college. I’ve been teaching about the Bible and the Holy Lands for almost 25 years, and I even helped start a special program called the AG Center for Holy Lands Studies.

Today, I am the Director of Operations for U.S. Missions. I get to help leaders, churches, and ministries all across the United States share the hope and love of Jesus with people everywhere!

U.S. Missions Administrator

Hi! My name is Ramona, and I have been serving with the Assemblies of God for many years. I first started working at the national office in 1980, and later God called me to serve in U.S. Missions. I began by helping with finances and accounting, and in 2009, I became the administrator for U.S. Missions!

I love helping support missionaries, ministries, and leaders as they share the hope of Jesus with people all over the United States. My husband, Doug, and I, along with our four dogs, live in Missouri, where we also own a business together.

Adult & Teen Challenge National Director

Hey Kids! We are so happy you are reading this! My name is Gary Blackard and I help serve in Adult & Teen Challenge, where we share Jesus with people who have struggles in their lives. We have locations in almost every state, all of them helping grown-ups and teenagers with problems. Thank you for being part of U.S. Missions. You are family and as your parents follow God’s call in their ministry, just remember, you are part of that calling. How cool is that!! Jesus has a calling for you too!! We love you all.

Chaplaincy National Director

Hey kids, I’m Chaplain Manny and I was a missionary kid when I was growing up just like you!  I’m so excited to have you as part of our U.S. Missions family. You are so important in what God is doing across the America.

Thank you for telling people about how much He loves them. I want you to know that Chaplaincy Ministries is praying for you and we want to encourage you in all that you’re doing for Jesus. 

Remember, the Bible says in 1 Timothy 4:12 – “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” Jesus has amazing things in store for you, and He wants to use you in big ways. I can’t wait to hear all about it.

Church Mobilization National Director

Hey friends, My name is Billy Thomas, I work with a department called "Church Mobilization".  Church Mobilization works with people all over the United States to help build churches and change lives.  The Church where you attend Sunday School, Children's Church, or Vacation Bible School, we might have helped to build that building.  Every year we help build over 75 new Churches!

You all know Bob the Builder; I guess you could call me Billy the Builder!  I love to see new churches built.  I have phone calls almost every day asking if we can help build a new church.  I always ask the same question that Bob does: Can we fix it?  It never fails that I hear from all of our volunteers, missionaries, and teams the same response; Yes, we can!  

We want to build churches for you!  We want you one day to join us and volunteer time to go and build churches!  That way we will continue to see people have a place to learn about Jesus. 

Gospel Outreach National Director

Hi friends! My name is Dwight Lee Miranda, and I am so excited to welcome you to Gospel Outreach Ministry (GO)!  I grew up on the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. Here is a fun fact about me: my first and middle name are not common Spanish names, so I was always asked where they came from. My first name comes from Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States. His image appears on the one-dollar coin.  He passed away the same year I was born, so his name must have been mentioned a lot, and it stuck in my parents’ minds.  As for my middle name, Lee… well, my only guess is that maybe my dad was watching a Bruce Lee movie when I was about to be born. Anyway, I’m so glad you’re part of our tribe, together we can make a difference and share God’s love wherever we GO!

Intercultural Ministries National Director

Hi there! My name is JR Rodriguez, and I get to serve as the National Director of Intercultural Ministries. I’m so excited that you’re part of our ministry family!

Here’s a fun fact: Some people think that Eskimos in Alaska lives in igloos—but that’s actually not true! Igloos were traditionally built by Inuit people in parts of Arctic Canada, and Alaska Native peoples have their own unique and beautiful cultures and ways of living. Pretty cool, right?

Just like every culture is special and different, you are uniquely created by God and are such an important part of this mission. You are not just “coming along” with your parents—you are an important part of God’s mission, and your life, gifts, and smile make a difference! Welcome to Intercultural Ministries. Youth Alive® National Director

Hey kids! My name is Lee Rogers, and I serve as the Director of Youth Alive with U.S. Missions. I get to help students all across the country know Jesus and share His love with their friends, classmates, schools, and communities.

I want you to know that you are a big part of the U.S. Missions family! As your parents follow God’s call, you are right there with them, and God can use your life in powerful ways too. You may be young, but you can still make a big difference for Jesus right where you are.

The Bible says in Matthew 5:16, “Let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” We are cheering you on, praying for you, and believing that God has amazing plans for your life!
